Our Catholic Traditions
Eucharistic Renewal
At the heart of our Catholic faith is our belief in the Eucharist. The bishops of the United States, along with our own bishop, the Most Reverend William Joensen, have begun an initiative to help us rediscover the beauty and importance of the Eucharist. The link below offers more information.

Start Some Plants Indoors!
February is a great time to plan your garden for summer, whether it is a large plot or held in a couple of containers. Starting seeds indoors can help to get a head start and is a great activity for families to do together. It helps us to appreciate the wonder and beauty of God's creation, and can allow us to make a plan for healthy eating. Click below for information to get you started!

Recipe
Tortilla Round-Ups
Serve these after you round up everyone after playing in the snow!
Ingredients:
Instructions
1: Place ingredients (except for the tortillas) in a large mixing bowl. Stir by hand until ingredients are mixed well.
2: Spread mixture evenly over tortilla and then roll tortilla up. Ideally they should be refrigerated for several hours before slicing. I generally make them the night before so they hold together better and the cream cheese can absorb flavors from the other ingredients.
3: When ready to serve, remove from refrigerator and cut to about 3/4" thick.
Note: I am asked to make this appetizer every time we have large family gatherings or game nights.

Serve these after you round up everyone after playing in the snow!
Ingredients:
- 2—8 oz packages cream cheese (softened)
- 1 small can chopped green chilies, drained
- 1 small can chopped black olives (I only use 1/2 of a can)
- 1 package of taco seasoning (I use about 3/4 of packet. The hot and spicy is good with this.)
- 3-4 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped (Adjust to your own taste)
