In February we explored prayer, various prayer methods, and resources for prayer. As you watch the video as a household, think of the ways you can expand your prayer routine and add something new. We invite you to experience adoration of the Eucharist on Mondays at 7pm, Tuesday-Friday from 6-7am, or Wednesday-Friday from 8-8:45am.
At the February gathering we explored various prayer resources. As a family choose a few of these prayer activities to try. Which ones were new to you? Which ones did you like? K-6 children participated in various prayer centers. Each center children collected a new prayer to add to their prayer ring from December. Email Jenni if you would like to make arrangements to pick up prayer ring resources.
Catholic Kids Media on YouTube. Halfway down the page are short guided prayer experiences.
Prayer can be simple and prayer can be elaborate. In February we talked about prayer and explored various ways to pray, both as a Church and as individuals. You can find various prayer resources below. The resource with traditional prayers features Spanish, English, and Latin translations of each prayer.
Eucharistic adoration may be new to you. We invite you to watch the videos below for an introduction to adoration, what it is, how to do it, and what happens in adoration. Thank you to the parishioner's of SSJP and Bishop William Joensen for providing their reflections on adoration.
